It's time to get serious...

Hey fans and friends!

So, I've been doing a lot of thinking and soul searching lately, and I've decided it's time I get serious. If I look back, even though I may not have realized it, I've always been a writer. I remember typing stories on my parent's old typewriter, and bringing them to school for my friends to read. I think some part of me always knew that's what I should be doing...

Though I have enjoyed my career in education, my real dream is to be able to write full time. If I plan to make that dream a reality, I've gotta take some steps...

To that end, and after much research, I've decided to start a Youtube channel! I'm super excited, and scared to death, but that means it'll be worth it, right? I don't have details yet, as I'm still researching, but I'm hoping to get things going over spring break. I'll keep you posted...

Also, a friend posted on social media a little while back about hosting a book club party where the author (a friend of hers) would be in attendance, offering a Q&A. I've been thinking about this a lot, and I think it would be so fun to do this! I hope that doesn't sound conceited! 😄 I just think it would be a great way to get feedback on my writing, to see things from the reader's perspective, and possibly get good ideas for future works...
